A lease end agreement terminates the tenancy early by mutual consent — useful when the statutory notice period does not fit your plans. Under § 311 BGB it creates new obligations, so record the move-out date, the condition of the flat, the handover and the deposit settlement in writing. Landlords may not force tenants into such an agreement with threats, and documenting everything avoids disputes later.
